All-STate Camp Scholarships

Applications for camps in summer 2026 will open on Wednesday, April 1, 2026

To support choir students in their journey through the All-State process, the Clements Choir Booster Club will award no fewer than two scholarships.

Each scholarship is comprised of at least $70 but may go up to the full cost of the camp. Recipients will be chosen based upon a written essay.

List of Camps

Any scholarships awarded will be paid as a reimbursement. After receiving notice of a scholarship award, families must pay for the camp and provide a receipt before receiving a check from the Booster Club.

To be eligible, the applicant must be:

  • A current member of Clements Choir

  • Be in good standing, maintaining UIL eligibility

  • Auditioning for the All-State Choir in the fall of the following school year

Applicants will receive an email with a decision within two weeks of the application deadline.

Applying

There are two items required from each applicant.

  1. Essay

  2. Signed note from a parent/guardian expressing that the applicant is ensured transportation to the All-State Camp

Essay

To better ensure impartial evaluation, there should be no identifying information on the essay for this application.
This includes applicants’ names, email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers, etc.

Applicants must type an essay titled “What the All-State Process Means to Me”. Minimum length is 250 words, but applicants may choose to write as much as they desire.

Essays should address the following topics:

  • Desire to succeed in choir (What does choir mean to you and how has it impacted your life? What are your choir goals?)

  • Vocal growth and accomplishments (Previous All-State/Region experience, Solo Festival, vocal progression over the past few years, etc.)

Signed Note

Applicants must provide a signed note from a parent/guardian expressing support for their participation in an All-State Camp and ensuring transportation for the applicant. Please print and use this form for your application.
