Officer Applications

Applications for the 26-27 school year are due April 16th, 2026 by 11:59PM

Please read the materials needed and the job descriptions of all the positions below. Decide which 3 positions other than President/Vice President you are most interested in. If you are eligible to be and interested in the President/Vice President position, there will be a separate section of the application dedicated to that. Section leaders may hold an additional officer position, but we try to “spread the wealth.”

Materials:

  • a resume

  • recorded videos** answering questions such as:

    • What makes you a good candidate for the officer positions you are applying for?

    • Why do you want to serve on the officer board?

    • What is the biggest issue you see in the program and what are your plans to help solve it?

    • and more…

  • a recommendation letter from a student NOT in your ensemble. Recommenders, submit using the link at the bottom of the page.

Interviews:

After the application deadline, directors will select candidates for an additional interview to make final selections for the following year’s board. All interview candidates will have certain “deliverables” to create or prepare before their interview. Check your email frequently after you submit your application for more details.

**video submissions are evaluated on everything that is seen and heard - please dress nicely, rehearse how you want to answer your questions to remove “um”s and “uh”s, and film in a location without extra noise if possible.
